"Paint the Town Red" - Constanze Flamme & Diva de Agostino,
curated by Aviv Maoz Haggiag

The exhibition will open officially on Oct.7 at 18.30 at the Kino Moviemento lounge with Jameson drinks, followed by our opening film "Fall Back Down", in presence of the director.
Meet the artists and celebrate the second edition of the "Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin" with us!
The objective of this exhibition parallel to the “Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin” is to give stage to two female emerging artists based in Berlin.
Constanze Flamme deals with the social and the environmental issues surrounding the city of Beirut, through geological and architectural both natural and artificial phenomena that brought changes to the city's physical structure. Her documentary photos depict the city of Beirut trying to find places where the past awaits for the future, and where, like in geology, the friction between the tectonics plates, might bring change and transformation.
Diva de Agostino’s bold and bright pop-art collages, made mostly from recycled, found or donated materials. The artist creates small-size collages, which deal with social and inter-personal issues, but represented in a positive manner, in stark contrast to the artist’s hermit-like tendencies and social anxieties. Maybe this is a way for the artist to escape. Still, in this case as well, there is the feeling of waiting for change and transformation.
